Every fundraiser brings Angels Among Us one step closer to creating a comprehensive, year-round Family Resource & Community Center for the Short Creek Area. Disability access, inclusion, Family Navigation, recreation, and support for children and individuals with disabilities remain at the heart of the mission, while the broader vision also includes education, childcare, respite, caregiver and family wellness, children's museum experiences, life-skills learning, community gathering, and meaningful opportunities for families of all abilities to connect and belong close to home. Every sponsor, volunteer, donor, fundraiser, and community supporter helps move that vision closer to reality.

❤️ Copper Rock Golf Course
Founding Event Partner
Founding Partner (2024–2026)
When Angels Among Us set out to host our very first charity golf tournament, we wanted it to be something special. Copper Rock Golf Course made that possible.
By opening their course to our organization, Copper Rock gave us far more than an incredible venue. They helped create an experience that brought our community together, introduced new people to our mission, and established what we hope will become a tradition for years to come.
Their generosity extended well beyond the course itself. Copper Rock also donated tournament merchandise and a complimentary round of golf for four, providing an unforgettable prize for our winning team and helping make the day even more memorable for everyone involved.
Our inaugural tournament was successful because of the incredible generosity of our sponsors, players, volunteers, and supporters, but none of it would have happened without a partner willing to believe in our vision and provide a place for our community to gather.
We are sincerely grateful to Copper Rock Golf Course for helping launch one of the signature fundraising events in the history of Angels Among Us. Their partnership helped turn an idea into a memorable day that continues to benefit children with disabilities and their families.

First Angels Among Us Copper Rock Golf Fundraiser
Our inaugural golf tournament brought together golfers, businesses, community leaders, and generous supporters to help launch the vision of Angels Among Us. Through sponsorships, raffle prizes, and donations, this event helped build awareness while raising funds to support future programs and our dream of building a permanent community center.

First Annual Angels Among Us Kentucky Derby Fundraiser
Our First Kentucky Derby Fundraiser brought the community together while raising critical funds to support children with disabilities and their families. Guests enjoyed delicious food and beverages throughout the day, all included with their admission, placed friendly bets on the Kentucky Derby, won exciting raffle prizes, and participated in a special live auction. Friends, families, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners came together to celebrate while making a meaningful impact for Angels Among Us and the families we serve throughout the Short Creek Area.

Angels Among Us is currently in the fundraising and development phase.
Our website shares trusted community resources and the evolving long-term vision for a comprehensive, year-round Family Resource & Community Center rooted in disability access, inclusion, Family Navigation, recreation, and support. The broader vision also includes education, childcare, respite, whole-family mental health and wellness resources, children's museum experiences, life-skills learning, community gathering spaces, and other opportunities designed to strengthen children, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, siblings, and families throughout the Short Creek Area.
Angels Among Us is not yet operating the future center or providing the planned direct programs and services described throughout this website. Fundraising, community partnerships, property planning, professional development, and other foundational work are underway as we build toward that future.
