🏗️ Building Hope Close to Home
Angels Among Us is raising funds to build the first Special Needs Family Resource Center serving the Short Creek Area. Every donation helps bring therapy, recreation, caregiver support, and trusted resources closer to home.
Support Our MissionAngels Among Us was founded because one family experienced firsthand how difficult it is to find answers, support, and services for a child with disabilities in a rural community. Today, we are building the first Special Needs Family Resource Center serving the Short Creek Area—so children and their families can find therapy, recreation, trusted Family Navigation, caregiver support, and a community where everyone belongs, close to home.

Our Story
When our founder's son was diagnosed with autism, the journey that followed was filled with uncertainty, long waitlists, countless miles on the road, and very few local resources. The greatest source of guidance often came from other parents who had already walked the same path.
That experience inspired a simple but powerful vision: no family should have to navigate disability alone.
Angels Among Us was created to become the place we wished had existed—a welcoming Family Resource Center where families can find trusted information, meaningful connections, inclusive recreation, caregiver support, and hope for the future.
"No family should have to navigate disability alone."— The Vision Behind Angels Among Us
Our Mission
We believe every child with a disability deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, play, and belong within their own community.
Our vision is to create the first Special Needs Family Resource Center serving the Short Creek Area—a place where families can access resources, participate in inclusive programs, build lasting friendships, and receive support at every stage of their journey.
Community-Rooted
We know these families by name.
Family-Centered
Built around what families actually need.
Hope-Driven
Every child has potential. Every family has strength.
Why Families Need Us
Across the Short Creek Area, families often travel long distances to access therapy, autism services, adaptive recreation, and basic guidance about available resources. We believe every family deserves support close to home. By bringing these services together in one welcoming place, we can reduce barriers, strengthen families, and build a more inclusive community for generations to come.
The Challenge
For families in the Short Creek Area, accessing autism services, therapy, respite care, and specialized resources often means driving hours each way. Angels Among Us exists to change that—bringing services together so families can find the support they need without leaving their community.
Therapy Access
Occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy close to home—no more long drives for families who need it most.
Inclusive Recreation

Inclusive Programs
Programs and spaces designed so every child and every family feels they truly belong here.
Community Partnerships
A gathering place where families connect, celebrate, and support one another throughout every season of life.
Our Vision
The Angels Among Us Family Resource Center is being designed as a place where children, caregivers, volunteers, educators, therapists, and neighbors come together. It will provide opportunities for recreation, learning, connection, respite, and belonging—while creating a stronger, more inclusive future for the entire Short Creek Area.

Designed for children of all abilities to play side by side in a safe, welcoming outdoor environment.
